PVDC casings are casings made of Polyvinylidene Chloride (PVDC) as the main material. PVDC casings have been widely used in the field of food packaging, especially in meat packaging, because of their unique properties.
High barrier property: PVDC casing has excellent oxygen, moisture and air resistance, which can effectively extend the shelf life of food.
Chemical resistance: PVDC casings are resistant to oil, acid and alkali and a variety of chemical solvents, which has a good protective effect on food.
Thermal stability: Although PVDC is a heat-sensitive plastic, it can still maintain stable performance under certain conditions and is suitable for high temperature cooking sterilization.
